Job Overview

MarketDental is seeking a dedicated, ambitious, and self-driven Technical Account Manager (TAM) to join our team in Edmonton, AB. In this role, you will work closely with our clients to build and maintain strong relationships, understand their technical needs, ensuring that all technical and security issues are resolved promptly and effectively. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and expanding an existing portfolio of accounts across North America. A solid understanding of Internet technologies and online marketing is essential. You'll be the primary point of contact, providing technical expertise, fostering strong relationships, and driving growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Technical Expertise & Client Support:
    • Troubleshoot and resolve technical & security issues for clients;
    • Deliver exceptional pre-sales and post-sales support, ensuring customer satisfaction;
    • Train clients on best practices to maximize the benefits of our software for their dental practice;
    • Stay ahead of the curve by keeping up-to-date on the latest features and industry trends.
  • Client Relationship Management & Growth:
    • Build and nurture long-term relationships with assigned dental office clients;
    • Partner with clients to understand their unique needs and tailor solutions accordingly;
    • Proactively identify challenges and recommend additional services or upgrades that enhance their experience;
    • Respond to client inquiries across various channels (phone, email, live chat etc.) and identify potential sales opportunities;
    • Develop and deliver compelling proposals and demos that showcase the value of our services.
  • Project Management & Collaboration:
    • Manage multiple client projects, ensuring on-time completion and meeting client requirements;
    • Oversee collaboration across departments (Sales, Marketing, Technical Support) for seamless client onboarding and ongoing success;
    • Utilize CRM and Kanban board systems to track project progress and maintain transparency.

Required knowledge, skills and abilities

  • Solid understanding of customer support processes and best practices (ticketing, call logging, basic action workflow, etc.);
  • Solid understanding of Internet technologies and services, including basic web development (HTML & CSS);
  • Solid understanding of online marketing (SEO, SMO, SEM);
  • Demonstrated project management skills;
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written;
  • Self-starter, independent and proactive;
  • Proficiency in cold-calling and account management;
  • Experience in coding a is a huge plus;
  • Experience in dental industry is also a huge plus.

Compensation for this role will be commensurate with experience (base salary + HSA)
